MEDA is excited to announce that applications for Community Reviews are now open!

For those unfamiliar, a Community Review is an in-depth peer assessment designed to create a strategic game plan for your community’s economic development. Experienced economic developers will immerse themselves in your community, learning all there is to know and helping to craft actionable strategies focusing on:

Celebrate what makes your home special.

Enhance the living experience for all residents.

Foster a thriving local economy.

Rehabilitate and reinvigorate key areas.

Communities eligible to apply should have:

A population of fewer than 10,000 people.
Completed WeCan or Reimagining Rural programs. Exceptions apply if your community can demonstrate the capacity to commit to the review process.
A Phase 2 action plan showcasing your commitment to development.
